ContiCuraPlus® cushioning material for head restraints makes driving even safer.

The head restraints in many cars are positioned too far back and too low, which means that the distance between the head and the head restraint while driving is far too large - representing a safety problem for many car drivers. This can result in a whiplash injury in the event of a rear-end collision.

The ContiCuraPlus® supplementary head-restraint padding shortens this distance and extends the head restraint upwards. Crash tests have shown that the retrofittable pad made of special CONTIPUR^® foam provides optimum support to the head and neck area and substantially reduces the risk of injury in a rear impact. Test participants also praise the additional comfort.

The pad fits most standard head restraints and meets Germany's currently valid regulations relating to vehicle roadworthiness. Fitting is child's play: remove the standard-fitted head restraint, slide the pad's eyes over the retaining rods and then attach tightly using Velcro.
